Certification
We take Certification seriously at Marley New Zealand,
and we never compromise on quality.
All of our product compliance validation is conducted at the Marley IANZ Registered Laboratory (IANZ 92), and we include Bureau Veritas license numbers for all products complying with manufacturing standards.
ISO 14001 Certified
Marley New Zealand was the first plastics manufacturer in New Zealand to attain ISO 14001 certification back in 2004 and as part of our ongoing commitment to environmental management we continually monitor energy and resource usage with an aim of minimising our impact on the natural environment.

Best Environmental Practice (BEP)
We were also one of the first to achieve BEP for our PVC products and systems which recognises a “cradle to cradle” approach regarding the sourcing, manufacture and end of life disposal of PVC building products. The New Zealand Green Building Council’s (NZGBC) Green Star Design & As Built rating system recognises PVC manufacturers with BEP accreditation and provides points for their use. Points are given under the Responsible Building Materials Credit.
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
The EPDs communicate transparent and comparable data and other relevant environmental information about the impact of our PVC and PE products (pipes, downpipes and gutters). We pride ourselves on playing an active role in creating a sustainable future for New Zealanders. To encourage sustainability and transparency in product specification, NZGBC provides points for products with EPD under the Sustainable Products Credit.
Marley New Zealand is ISO accredited, BEP accredited and have two EPDs. We manufacture long lasting, highly durable products and systems to help maximise the lifecycle of our built environment and we operate reasonably with respect to our environment.
