Marley & Master Plumbers – Movember Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter of this promotion is Master Plumbers and Marley New Zealand (together, Promoter).
2. Entry into this promotion is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Employees of Master Plumbers and Marley New Zealand, their agencies, and members of their immediate families, are ineligible to enter. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who are aged 18 years and over at the start date of the Promotional Period.
4. Entrants must hold a current Master Plumbers Membership or be staff of Members’ businesses (Members) or be a Plumbing/Gasfitting/Drainlaying Master Plumbers’ Business Partner.
5. The promotion commences 12:01am (NZDT) on Thursday 1 November 2023 and closes 11:59pm (NZDT) on Wednesday 30 November 2023 (Promotional Period).
6. Promotion details:
  1. Win a $500 Team Event – We’ll shout the team with the highest Movember fundraiser a team event worth up to $500*.
  2. Best In Show – Trucker, Connoisseur, Slug, we’re giving away a $159 Chuffed Gift for each style category. Upload a Before & After photo in line with the official Movember rules and you could win!**
  3. Move for Movember – An event for the guys AND girls! The guy or girl with the highest number of km’s run or walked wins a $159 Chuffed Gift Box.***
7. Prize Details:
  1. * Team event will be worth up to $500. The winners can choose what they do with their local Marley Territory Manager and Master Plumbers representative.
  2. ** The Best in Show will be judged by a panel of Marley & Master Plumbers representatives. One winner per style category – Trucker / Handlebar, Connoisseur & Slug – will win a ‘Discover Experience Box for Two’ Chuffed Gift (standard Chuffed Gift terms & conditions apply to the prize)
  3. *** Track your km’s using a fitness tracker app, Mo Space supports Strava, Fitbit and Garmin Connect for automatic tracking. The person with the highest number of km’s will win a ‘Discover Experience Box for Two’ Chuffed Gift (standard Chuffed Gift terms & conditions apply to the prize)
8. The winners will be notified by phone or email within 5 working days of the promotion ending using the details listed on the Promoters’ account database. It is the responsibility of Members to ensure that their relevant details on the Promoters’ account database are correct.
9. In the event a winner cannot be contacted, (that is, cannot be reached by telephone and/or does not respond to email) within 7 days of the draw, that winner automatically forfeits the Prize, and another winner will be determined (in which case, the provisions of this clause will apply to that new winner).
10. If any Prize item is unavailable, despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure it, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize of equal or greater value.
11. The winners and their team take the Prize entirely at their own risk and will be responsible for complying with all laws and requirements relating to the Prize. Any failure by the winner or their guests to comply with the terms and conditions imposed by the Prize supplier(s) may result in the Prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter of the Prize supplier(s).
12. Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. By accepting the Prize, the winners and their team consent to use of their information (name(s) and/or image, including photographs and video) for reasonable publicity and promotional purposes in connection with this promotion, without compensation. All copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to the promotional materials will vest in the Promoter.
14. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, and their respective related companies, employees, and agents, will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion or accepting a Prize.
15. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All personal information will be collected and stored by the Promoter in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal information to conduct the Promotion and for its own future promotional and publicity purposes. Each entrant agrees that the Promoter may:
  1. use the entrant’s personal information to conduct the promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including to send electronic messages to or telephone the entrant in relation to the promotion); and
  2. disclose the entrant’s personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, services provider, and prize suppliers, for the purpose of conducting the promotion. Entrants have the right to access and request correction of personal information held by the Promoter. Entrants can obtain a copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy by contacting the Promoter.
16. By entering this promotion, you are also opting into future communication from the promoter and their associated agencies.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a Prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry. The Promoter’s decision is final.
18. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to, Covid-19 related government imposed restrictions, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, acts or omissions of third parties, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
