SecuraOne® Flow Rate Test Vs. Competitors Flow Rate Test
We recently simulated a standard 3 bed/2 bath house fit out in the Marley warehouse to prove that SecuraOne® was comparable in flow rate to SecuraGold™ and any other competitor PB or PEX system.
The results are in and the data supports a REAL flow rate comparison showing that fixtures are the biggest limiter of flow rate. Plumbers can move to SecuraOne® knowing there is limited difference in flow rate compared to all other hot and cold systems.
The difference between our Flow Rate Test and our competitors
| SecuraOne® Flow Rate Comparison Test | Competitors Flow Rate Comparison Test | |
|---|---|---|
| 5m + of 20mm SG and S1 pipe replicating the main used in a house fit out | ||
| 16mm S1 and 15mm SG droppers to fixtures | ||
| Additional fittings to replicate the number used in a house fit out (also a flow limiter) | ||
| Fixtures like mixers and shower heads (with small IDMs) | ||
| Multiple fixtures running at the same time to show flow rate with all taps on | ||
| Data points captured as further proof of comparable flow rate |

SecuraOne® Flow Rate Calculator
Calculates the normal pressure losses incurred during water reticulation through 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm and 32mm PB and PEX pipes.
* L/min relates to the NZBC G12/AS1 acceptable flow rates to sanitary fixtures.
** Allow 1m per fitting.
