Marley also donates various products to students and schools throughout New Zealand. One of the more recent (and interesting) donations involved the creation of a Drumbone. Marley was approached by an intermediate student named Ryan Bolus who was inspired by the Blue Man Group to create his own instrument out of PVC pipes. Marley was more than happy to help and provide various PVC bends and pipes free of charge. Ryan’s creation- the drumbone has two drumming surfaces with two slides that allow different length tubes, and therefore different notes to be heard!
